During, the Cherokee County Board of Education Meeting, the Board approved the 2023-24 Policy Manual Revisions and the Extended Family Contract.

The Board accepted a bid for all lawn care.

The Board also approved the Energy Savings Budget Amendments for all the schools and they also approved the out of state travel for the Sand Rock Basketball team to go to Panama City, Florida.

They declared items as surplus property which were approved.

A Personnel Development app was approved Along with approving Professional Development.

School Superintendent Mike Welsh Spoke about the two job postings. He also, spoke about the National School Lunch Week on October 9-13. He commended the Cherokee High School Band and Cherokee County Warrior running back Jacob Cornejo in one game having over 400 yards .
