Alabama State Troopers worked both a single-vehicle crash and injury in Cherokee County early on Wednesday morning – and a three vehicle collision, with one person being hurt – just a short time later in Etowah County.
According to the State Trooper Post, the Cherokee County crash took place at 6:15am, on U.S. 27 – involving a 2013 Freightliner, being driven by a male, from Decatur, Georgia. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment afterwards.
A short time later, at 7:41am there was a three-vehicle wreck in neighboring Etowah County – involving a 2003 Chevrolet, being driven by a male from Gadsden; a 2007 Cadillac being driven by a female – both of whom were unhurt – and, also a 2014 Toyota, being driven by a female from the Gadsden area – who required medical treatment afterwards. That accident took place on U.S. 411.
Both wrecks currently remain under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
