We now have more information on an accident that occurred in Cherokee County on Friday, just before noon.
According to the Alabama State Troopers Post in Jacksonville at 11:55am on County Road 8 – the driver of a 2005 Toyota Avalon swerved to avoid a deer in the road, lost control and then rolled the vehicle over.
Fortunately, the driver – listed as a male resident of Piedmont – was NOT hurt in the mishap.
