Lady Warriors split volleyball tri-match with Jacksonville, Spring Garden

CENTRE — The Cherokee County Lady Warriors split a volleyball tri-match on Thursday. They defeated Jacksonville 25-14, 25-22, then lost in three sets to Spring Garden 20-25, 25-20, 12-15.

In the win over Jacksonville, Macy Lea managed 13 assists, four digs, three aces, a kill and a block for the Lady Warriors (18-11). Raegan Garmany posted five kills and two blocks. Nevaeh Gaidurgis collected nine kills, seven digs, three aces and a block. Ellisan Givens finished with five digs and four assists.

Against Spring Garden, Lea came away with 28 assists, three kills, two digs and a block. Garmany gained eight kills and three digs. Ava Haygood had seven kills, two digs and a block. Libby Curry collected three kills, six digs and two aces. Givens posted 16 digs and a kill. Gaidurgis came away with six kills and 12 digs. Lilly Shaw finished with two kills and two blocks.
