Two people were injured in a single vehicle crash – taking place early Thursday afternoon in Cherokee County.
According to Alabama State Trooper reports the crash occurred at 1:38pm on County Road 29 and involved a 2004 Mustang that left the roadway and then traveled into a field, before coming to a stop – after rolling over several times. Both the driver – a male from Helena, Georgia – and passenger – a male from Florida – were taken for treatment, to area medical facilities.
Two Floyd EMS Units and Cherokee County Rescue Squad, along with McCords Crossroads, and Law Enforcement personnel – all responded to the scene.
And that wreck remains under investigation – by Alabama State Troopers
