CENTRE – The Cherokee County Lady Warriors swept a volleyball tri-match Thursday with area rival Ashville (25-7, 25-15, 25-22) and Douglas (26-24, 25-19) to improve to 6-4 on the season (1-0 area).

In the win over Ashville, Macy Lea posted 28 assists, three aces, six digs and three kills. Ava Haygood added six kills, 13 digs and four aces. Nevaeh Gaidurgis collected 14 kills, seven digs and an assist. Ellisan Givens contributed 10 digs, two aces and an assist. Emilee Paul posted five aces and four digs. Libby Curry collected three kills, five digs and an ace. Raegan Garmany finished with four kills.

In the win over Douglas, Lea accumulated 17 assists, three digs, an ace and a block. Curry contributed eight kills, two digs and an ace. Gaidurgis: came away with eight kills, six digs, an ace and a block. Givens gained eight digs and three assists. Haygood had four kills, eight digs and an ace. Paul finished with five aces and a pair of digs.
