Warriors’ football game at Munford moved from Sept. 29 to Sept. 28

MUNFORD – The Cherokee County High School at Munford football game, originally scheduled for Friday, Sept. 29, has been moved to Thursday, Sept. 28. Cherokee County High School made the announcement on its social media outlets on Tuesday afternoon.

Cherokee County is off to a 2-0 start to this season, with wins over Alexandria and Piedmont. The Warriors travel to Good Hope in Class 4A, Region 6 action on Friday at 7 p.m.

Munford is 0-1 following a 28-22 loss to Childersburg on Aug. 25. The Lions were off last week and travel to Anniston this Friday.
