HEFLIN — The Cherokee County Lady Warriors swept a pair of volleyball matches Thursday in Heflin. They defeated Pell City 26-24, 25-18, then beat Cleburne County 25-13, 25-21.

In the win over Pell City, Macy Lea managed 20 assists, six digs and a kill. Nevaeh Gaidurgis posted seven kills, five blocks, four digs and an ace. Raegan Garmany contributed five kills and three blocks. Ellisan Givens delivered 11 digs. Libby Curry came away with three kills, five digs and a pair of aces. Ava Haygood finished with four kills, three blocks and two aces.

Against Cleburne County, Lea collected 20 assists, a kill and two digs. Gaidurgis gained eight kills, three aces, a block and a dig. Garmany came away with four kills. Curry also had four kills to go along with three aces and three digs. Haygood contributed three kills, two digs and two aces. Givens finished with four digs.
