Armuchee Man Arrested After Fleeing From Police

A 29-year-old Armuchee man was being held without bond after he fled from Floyd County Police last Sunday. 

According to reports, Bill Franklin Douglas III fled – and he was driving 20 mph OVER the speed limit at the time of his arrest. 

He was charged with – DUI,  felony fleeing from police, failure to maintain lane, possession of marijuana less than an ounce, and a number of other traffic infractions along with six counts of the obstruction of law enforcement after he resisted arrest.
