Former Investigator / Deputy Arrested in Georgia

A former Chattooga County Deputy and also Investigator for the Town of Trion, Georgia Police Department was arrested Friday afternoon and was charged with aggravated stalking under the Family Violence Act. 

Chattooga County Sheriff Mark Schrader stated that the charges were in relation to a domestic situation. 

Dexter Blackmon had served as the Trion Police Department Investigator and he had come back to work at the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office, but had resigned from the sheriff’s office the first of May of this year (2023). 

Blackmon was not working in law enforcement at the time of his arrest.
