The Centre City Council met Tuesday afternoon for their regular bi-monthly meeting.
Among the usual business tended to, the council approved a motion to designate a day as David and Pat Hartline Day, to demonstrate community support for David Hartline’s nomination for the presidential medal of freedom. The motion initiated a plan to decide on a day, which will be announced later.
The council also reviewed and approved a change order for the swimming pool at Centre city park to re-route electrical to be entirely underground and hidden at a cost of $31407.91. The council also approved a measure for a continued sponsorship for the Val Run.
The council also reminded the public that Weis Lake Events’ Egg hunt has been moved from the softball field to the soccer field, remains scheduled for April 8th.
