Piedmont softball blanks Jacksonville 4-0

PIEDMONT – Emma Grace Todd tossed a complete-game shutout, helping the Piedmont Lady Bulldogs earn a 4-0 softball victory over visiting Jacksonville on Tuesday.

Todd scattered six hits with eight strikeouts for the Lady Bulldogs. She also went 1-for-3 at the plate.

Savannah Smith led the Lady Bulldogs with a pair of hits, a pair of runs and a RBI. Armoni Perry and Ava Pope both posted a hit.

Piedmont (14-7) scored three runs in the first and added another in the third for the final.
