The Collinsville Town Council met for their regular bi-monthly meeting Monday night. Among the usual business tended to, the council announced that Waymond McGee of the Redevelopment Authority board has passed away, and offered their condolences to his family and friends. Jeb Hornbuckle was approved by the council to replace Waymond on the Redevelopment Authority board. Mayor Traffanstedt said that with his experience as a carpenter, Jeb would be a great fit for the position.
Two members of the Historic Preservation Board’s time was set to expire in April. The council renewed Martha Barksdale and Brenda Turbyfill’s membership with a unanimous vote.
The mayor also reminded the council that their Statement of Economic Interests are due by April 30th.
The next meeting of the Collinsville Town Council will be Monday, April 3rd 2023.
