Gaylesville claims 10-3 baseball win over Faith Christian

GAYLESVILLE – The Gaylesville Trojans improved to 9-4 on the baseball season with a 10-3 victory over visiting Faith Christian on Monday.

Kyler Bradley led the Trojans at the plate by going 3-for-3 with a double, two runs and a RBI. Braden Sharp went 2-for-4 with a double and a run. Collin Hendon was also 2-for-4 with a run and a RBI. Kuper Bradley went 2-for-5 with two runs and a RBI.

JJ Yarbrough was 1-for-3 with a run and two RBIs. Tanner Eads went 1-for-4 with a run and a RBI. Hunter Allmond was 1-for-3 with a walk. Landon Chumbler drew two walks and scored a run. Karrson Ray finished with a walk, a run and a RBI.

Allmond earned the win after working all seven innings. He allowed no earned runs on five hits with no walks and a strikeout.

Gaylesville begins an area series at Spring Garden on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
