Cedar Bluff’s Patterson posts softball no-hitter at Jacksonville Christian

JACKSONVILLE – Reece Patterson posted a no-hitter through three innings. She allowed just two walks with seven strikeouts and also had a 3-for-3 performance at the plate in Cedar Bluff’s 20-0 softball win at Jacksonville Christian on Tuesday.

Patterson doubled, walked, scored a pair of runs and had three RBIs for the Lady Tigers (6-9, 2-0 area). Natalie Baty homered, walked three times, scored three runs and had two RBIs. Mattie Payne doubled, walked three times, scored four runs and had three RBIs. Harlie Nelson doubled, walked, scored a run and had four RBIs.

Haley Allen added a pair of hits, a pair of runs and three RBIs. Kylie Vadon also had two hits, a walk, three runs and a RBI. Za’Niya Kyle contributed a hit, a run and two RBIs. Kaylyn Vadon had a hit, a run and a RBI. Rylie Walker walked, scored a run and drove in another.

Cedar Bluff travels to Spring Garden on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
