Two Hurt in Bypass Collision on Thursday / UPDATED

A two-vehicle collision left two people injured early Thursday afternoon in Cherokee County.  Centre Police and Fire Units along with Atrium EMS responded to that scene at around 12:55 on the Bypass in Centre, across from Alaco.

According to the Centre Police Department report, the wreck involved a 2023 Toyota Four-Runner driven by a 60 year old female from Leesburg and a 2023 Ford Mustang GT being driven by a 20 year old male from Cedar Bluff,

The driver of the four-runner wasn’t hurt, but both the driver and a passenger inside the Mustang were treated at the scene and released.

That wreck remains under investigation
