JACKSONVILLE – MJ Adams posted 25 points and eight rebounds in leading the Cedar Bluff Tigers to a 65-49 area basketball win at Jacksonville Christian on Friday.

Bucky Leek tossed in 17 points for the Tigers (4-1, 3-0), including three 3-pointers. He also had five assists, three rebounds and two steals. Austin Richardson added eight points, four boards, two steals and an assist. Eli McFry finished with five points, three rebounds and a steal.

Ethan Fair led the Thunder with 11 points, including three treys. Tyler Doggrell and Braxton Brown both finished with nine points.

Cedar Bluff trailed 12-10 at the end of the first quarter, but took a 34-27 edge at halftime. The Tigers stretched their lead to 54-41 after three quarters.

The Tigers host Ashville on Monday.
