A Cherokee County man was injured in a two-vehicle collision taking place at around 9:45 Monday night on Alabama Highway 9.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report, the collision was near mile marker 263 and involved a 2012 Kawasaki driven by a resident of Centre – and a 2008 Ford being driven by a female, also from Centre. The male driver of the Kawasaki was transported for treatment; however. no further information has been released.
That wreck remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
