A pedestrian has reportedly been struck and killed early this (Thursday) morning, in northwest Georgia.
According to Chattooga County Sheriff Mark Schrader, that person was fatally injured when struck by a motor vehicle on Highway 27 at Rossville Boulevard, near Trion. No additional information is available at this point.
The Georgia State Patrol is currently investigating.
