CENTRE – Tanner Young posted a hat trick with three goals and Antonio Hernandez kept Chattooga scoreless on goal in the Cherokee County Warriors’ 8-0 victory on Thursday.

“We’re proud of this team coming out and playing to our standard and not letting the other team dictate our pace or intensity, which has been a big issue this season,” Warrior coach Matthew Pharr said. “We played with a chip on our shoulder and it was nice to see us take care of business on defense and keep the clean sheet for Antonio.”

Cherokee County hosts Douglas on April 8.
