GADSDEN – The Sand Rock Lady Wildcats belted out 13 hits in three innings. They scored 10 runs in the first and cruised to an 18-2 area softball win at Gaston on Tuesday.

Emma Sipsy led the Lady Wildcats at the plate and in the circle. She had three hits, including a home run, with two runs scored and five RBIs. She also allowed an earned run on two hits with a walk and two strikeouts.

Katelyn StClair tripled, doubled, walked, scored three runs and had two RBIs. EllaGrace Hood doubled, singled, walked, scored two runs and had four RBIs. Sherina Foster doubled twice, walked, scored twice and had a RBI. Jadyn Foster doubled, walked twice, scored three runs and had a RBI.

Bailey Kilgore collected a hit, two runs and three RBIs. Lily Clanton contributed a hit and a run. Kailee Patterson added a hit and a RBI. Rylin StClair walked twice and scored a run. Briley Knight and Zoey Handy both walked and scored a run.

Sand Rock hosts Fyffe on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
