Two mobile homes in the Broomtown area were destroyed by fire overnight.

The Broomtown, Gaylesville and Cedar Bluff Fire Departments responded to the location on County Road 921 just before 1:00 to a report of two house trailers on fire at the same location.

Firefighters on scene reported that all occupants were able to safely exit both homes.

Floyd EMS units were also called to the scene as a precautionary measure.

The cause of the fires is not known at this time.
