WEIS Radio had the pleasure of speaking with District 39 State Representative Ginny Shaver on Friday and she covered an array of topics including a proposed lottery bill: the “Constitutional Carry Bill” – which centers around concealed carry permits – and much more, including a very special guest who’ll be visiting Centre next week.
Representative Shaver says every item will be given careful consideration and that in itself makes up the big picture:
This session will deal with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic – reaching out to the many agencies, organizations and people who were all so adversely affected, and still are dealing with setbacks today; there was also discussion regarding the state census numbers, re-districting, the Highway 411 Project and more. She also announced that the residents of Cherokee County and surrounding areas – can look forward to a visit from a big supporter of this area in the coming days:
That number to contact the Chamber is (256) 927-8455; there is a limited number of tickets available, so call as soon as possible.
