In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the past 24 hours:

Dewel Wayne Hammitt, age 42 charged with Burglary 3rd Degree and Theft of Property 1st Degree;

Stevie Lanier Cordle, age 28 – Probation Violation;

Samuel Jason Mallett, age 37 – 7 Day Court Order;

Robert Darrell Brewster, age 31, was charged with a Violation of the Prohibition Law;

Dallas Todd Cabe, age 18 – was charged with Underage Consumption of Alcohol and Minor in Possession of Alcohol;

And

Scott Eugene Johnson, age 40, was charged with Public Intoxication.

Currently there are 104 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
