Centre Police are searching for a suspect involved in the theft of approximately $1,000 worth of fishing equipment from a vehicle in the parking lot at the Centre Wal Mart.
The suspect who was described only as a white male apparently entered the lot driving a 1997-2004 model white Ford Expedition with tinted windows and stole the equipment from an unoccupied vehicle.
Police say the vehicle was then seen traveling on Highway 411 toward Leesburg – anyone who has any information concerning the incident should contact Investigator Randy Mayorga at 256-927-3661.
