A 57 year old Gadsden woman has been arrested in connection with the death of an infant last year (2014).
The autopsy report from the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences stated that the baby died of blunt force trauma – and in the wake of that information – Eva Goggins Lindsey was placed under arrest on a charge of capital murder.
The six month old girl died last February 26th at Children’s Hospital of Birmingham.
Lindsey is being held in the Etowah County Detention Center without bond – no additional information is being released at this time.
