The Georgia Supreme Court has denied a petition filed by former Rome businessman Lance Walker to review his case.
Walker was convicted on child molestation and sodomy charges in August of 2013 in Floyd County Superior Court.
He appealed to the Georgia Court of Appeals – stating that the trial court had erred when it sentenced him to 25 years in prison.
The appeals court denied his appeal in October.
Walker is currently being held in Wilcox State Prison.
