A home in Sand Rock suffered extensive by fire on Saturday afternoon – Firefighters were called to the scene at 1905 County Road 43 just after 12:30 in response to a 911 call reporting a fire at the residence.

Sand Rock and Tuckers Chapel Engines were among the first to arrive on the scene within minutes and reported that the home was fully engulfed in flames.

Leesburg Firefighters and Cherokee County Sheriffs Deputies were also dispatched to the scene – no one was reported injured during the fire, it is not known exactly what caused the blaze.
