Cherokee County authorities arrested four individuals on drug charges Wednesday.
Cherity Jones Bray, age 22 of Centre, was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – and Promoting Prison Contraband 2nd Degree – also Bondsman off Bond/Chemical Endangerment, Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and two counts of the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;
Christopher Lavon Dyar, age 25 of Leesburg, was charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;
Joseph Liston Hudgins, age 22 of Cedar Bluff – was charged with the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;
Shirley Trammell, age 19 of Gaylesville charged with the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;
Bray was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center just after 10:30pm; Dyar was booked in around 8:30pm and Hudgins was booked in at 3:00pm – all three remain behind bars with bond for Hudgins set at $1,000. Bray and Dyar are still awaiting setting of bond.
Trammell was booked into jail just after 3:00pm – and she was released shortly after 7:30 that evening after posting bail of $1,000.
