Cherokee County law enforcement officials arrested a pair of Birmingham area residents on drug charges Thursday night.
Mekiael Dominique Miller, age 25 and Samaiyah Anise Miller, age 32, both of Midfield, were charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Both were booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center shortly after 9:00; they were released around midnight after making bond of $1,000 each.
