The Alabama Association of Assessing Officials recently announced the appointment of Jeff Adcock to the Joint Education Advisory Committee of the Alabama Property Tax Education & Certification Program. Adcock shared his thoughts on the appointment with WEIS Radio during an interview earlier in the week:

Adcock is the Chief Cartographer and a G.I.S. Coordinator for the Cherokee County Revenue Commission.

He’s been an Alabama Certified Mapper since 1994 and is also an instructor with the Center for Government Services at Auburn University.

Presently, there only 75 or so certified mappers in the entire state of Alabama.
