Although a name has yet to be released DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris has confirmed that law enforcement discovered the body of a deceased male in the driver’s seat of a truck located in a field located in the High Pointe community last Friday (May 15th).
Harris stated that the man was pronounced dead at the scene – possibly from an accidental overdose.
He added that the case remains under investigation – and an autopsy will be performed by the Alabama Department of Forensic Science in Huntsville.
