Mr. Jack Farmer Mackey, age 73 of Sand Rock, passed away Wednesday, January 7th at Cherokee Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 1:PM Saturday, January 10th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Melvyn Salter officiating; burial will follow in Mt. Lookout Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:AM until 1:PM Saturday.

Pallbearers include Frog West, Justin Mackey, Austin Mackey, Doug Mackey, Dylan Mackey, Dakoda Mackey.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Osborn Mackey; sons, Brian (Rhea) Mackey of Sand Rock, Dennis Mackey of Sand Rock; brother, Bud (Sandra) Mackey of Sand Rock; sisters-in-law, Faye Mackey of Gadsden, Lois Mackey of Sand Rock; grandchildren, Justin, Austin, Doug, Dylan & Dakoda Mackey; several nieces & nephews.

Mr. Mackey was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Rufus and Bonnie Louise Farmer Mackey, retired from Goodyear Rubber Company, was a member of the Round Mountain Lodge and was of the Baptist Faith.
Memorials may be made to Round Mountain Lodge or the family will accept flowers.
