Law enforcement officials are investigating a holdup which took place at the Garden Lakes Mini Mart on Monday night. According to reports, around 10:30 a black male wearing a red cap and a black hoodie came into the store armed with a handgun, demanding money.
After the clerk handed over the money the suspect fled in the direction of Tyler Street – and in the process he apparently dropped a great deal of the cash – leaving a money trail across several yards and streets.
The man did however, manage to elude officers, and the investigation into the matter is on-going.
