Residents in the East Centre area, and downtown Centre, experienced a power outage early Friday morning.
The power went out at 6:02am and was restored approximately 45 minutes later.
Sarah Bright with Cherokee Electric Co-op informs us that the outage was due to a “jumper” burning off the cable directly across from the Co-op.
