A Marshall County teenager has been sentenced to a term of 20 years in prison, following a guilty plea in connection with the 2012 death of his then-girlfriend’s child.

19 year old Immanuel Gage Allen entered the guilty plea to a charge of manslaughter back in September in connection with the death of eleven month old Gemma Moore.

Allen told authorities that the child died after falling off the bed – and striking her head on a CD player however a forensic pathologist has testified that the injuries were not consistent with a simple fall – saying there were a total of 15 injuries to the head – including a broken collar bone.
