Albertville High School head football coach Joel Poole was placed on leave with pay on Wednesday.
He was not at school at all Wednesday. The school system is conducting an investigation involving the coach. He is the head football coach at the school as well as the P.E. teacher.
They say an incident took place at practice one day. School officials say this is a school matter not a police matter.
There were no physical injuries during the incident.
