J.T. Bright, age 85 of Piedmont, passed away Thursday, October 9th at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 2:PM Sunday, October 12th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Bobby Hooper and Rev. David Weaver officiating; burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Ellisville. The family will receive friends from 12 until 2:PM Sunday.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.

Survivors include son, Barry Bright of Centre; daughter, Judy Mobley of Centre; brothers, Ed Bright of Piedmont, Elbert Bright of Piedmont; sister, Myrtle Franklin of Piedmont; 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; great granddaughter by choice, Aubrey LaAnn Blaylock; great grandsons by choice, Samuel Parris, Derrick Jordan.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Frances Bright; sons, Jeff Bright, Terry Bright, David Mobley.

Mr. Bright was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Roy and Pauline Grissom Bright and was of the Holiness faith.
