Two Etowah County women have been arrested on charges of Chemical Endangerment of a Child in separate cases.
29 year old Kristi Dyan Johnson of Rainbow City was placed under arrest, after admitting to investigators that she took Roxicodone, Norco and Benzodiazepine during her pregnancy – 36 year old Casey Browning Shehi of Gadsden was arrested and charged testing positive for Benzadiaxapin; she also admitted to taking Xanax during her pregnancy.
Bond for each woman stands at $10,000 and both will be supervised by the Etowah County Department of Community Corrections and must provide a negative drug test before being released on bond.
