The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation into an accident which is believed to have happened at around 6:00am Thursday approximately three miles from the four-way in Leesburg.

The vehicle, a Nissan Maxima, was reported stolen sometime Wednesday night not far from where the accident took place; the driver was traveling southbound on Highway 411 when the car went off the right side of the road and overturned.

According to Leesburg Police Chief Lanny Ransum and emergency personnel on the scene, no one was in the car when they arrived.
