Four people were arrested after a drug search warrant was issued at a home in Piedmont Thursday morning, according to the Piedmont Police Department.

Police said 49-year-old Brian Dutton, 56-year-old Connie Dutton, 30-year-old Lindsey Dutton, and 51-year-old Jimmy Austin were charged with ‘Trafficking Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Firearms, unidentified substances, around three pounds of suspected marijuana, an assortment of drug paraphernalia including pipes, used syringes, scales and “other items to prepare narcotics” were seized during the search.

Police said additional charges may be possible pending lab results.

All four were taken to the Piedmont City Jail and transported to the Calhoun County Jail where their bonds will be set.
