The Centre Middle School eighth grade girls basketball team recently completed an undefeated 2021-22 season. They won 17 regular season games, the CMS Claude Hooper Tip-Off Classic, the Cherokee County Middle School Tournament at Spring Garden, and went undefeated in the Supreme Courts Thanksgiving Tournament in Guntersville.

The Lady Warriors outscored their opponents an average of 40-16, and finished with an overall record of 25-0.

The girls were coached by Richard Barton and assisted by Patrick Lowe, Zack Highfield and Florence Major. The coaches helped prepare the girls with summer and off-season workouts, scrimmages and tournaments. Several seventh grade girls also contributed to the success this season.
