Leesburg Man Jailed In Floyd County For Using Forged Check To Buy A Harley

A 46-year-old Leesburg man remained in jail in Floyd County on $10,100 bond on accusations that he forged a check to purchase a Harley Davidson motorcycle, reports stated.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Adam Lee Maroney is charged with felony theft by taking and forgery. On May 22 he used another person’s check to purchase a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle from Complete Cycle on Fosters Bend Road for $5,600. He then came back to the store and said the funds weren’t available and that he’d later return with cash. Maroney did not return the motorcycle.
