Mr. Billy Joe Baker, age 85 of Centre, passed away Monday, January 20th at his residence.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Thursday, January 13th, at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. David Dale officiating and burial to follow in the Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 9 until 11 AM Thursday at the Funeral Home.

Survivors include wife, Joan Baker; Sons, Stephen Baker and Mark Baker; Sister, Patricia (Jerry) Lockridge; grandchildren, Shauna (Ben) Carothers and Haley Baker; great-grandchildren, Clara Jane, Jack and Joni Alice Carothers.

Pallbearers include Neal Compton, Jay Jordan, Jed Lockridge, Tony Mackey, Torey Chandler and Greg Bomian. Honary Pallbearers will Jerry Lockridge and Fisher of Men Sunday School Class of Fairview Methodist Church.

Mr. Baker was a native of Cherokee County and the son of the late Henry Ray and Mary Baker and a member of Fairview Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Fairview United Methodist Church or Cemetery Fund.
