Cherokee County Arrest Files:

Derrick Thrift, age 45 of Gaylesville – Theft;

Phillip Smith, age 48 of Hokes Bluff – Appearing in a Public Place Under the Influence;

Brittany Parks, age 28 of Chattsworth, Georgia – Attempting to Elude, Resisting Arrest, Possession of Stolen Vehicle and Driving Under the Influence/Controlled Substance;

and

Amber Harbin, age 34 of Gadsden – Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Arrests are based on probable cause – all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law

Currently there are 89 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
