Kevin Anthony age 48 of Centre passed away Friday January 7th at Floyd Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Wednesday January 12th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jo Lane Kirk officiating, burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12 until 2 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be members of the McCord’s Crossroad Fire Department.
Survivors include wife, Amanda Anthony of Centre; daughters, Lacey (Adam) Jennings and Maegan (Tyler) Daniell; son, Turner Youngblood; brothers, Tim (Ginger) Anthony and Jimmy Anthony; grandchildren, Mason Jennings, Callie Bedwell, Cash and Skye Daniell; father and mother in-law, Tony & Deborah Lambert; brother in-laws, Blake Lambert, Cody (Chianne) Lambert; special grandmother, Jo Lane Kirk. Several nieces and nephews also remain.
Mr. Anthony was a native of Centre, Al. and the son of the late Jones and Blanche Anthony and was of the Baptist Faith. He was employed at Goss Logging and was a member of McCord’s Crossroads Fire Department, where he served as chief for 6 years. Mr. Anthony also enjoyed dirt track racing, cooking out, fishing, football, and spending quality time with family & friends.
