GADSDEN – Jack Amos and Landon Caldwell both netted 13 points to lead the Cherokee County Warriors to a 52-47 boys basketball victory at Southside of Gadsden on Tuesday night.
Jayden Wilson collected 12 points for the Warriors (8-7). Cade Hopper finished with seven points.
Isaac Barnard led the Panthers with 17 points. Brenton Heath had 12 points, including three 3-pointers.
The Panthers held a 12-11 advantage at the end of the first quarter and a 23-21 edge at halftime.

Southside led 39-36 at the end of three quarters before the Warriors outscored the Panthers 16-12 in the final quarter.
