Allen Lee Downey, age 72 of Piedmont, passed away Tuesday, December 21st at Riverview Regional Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held Monday, December 27th, 2021 at 12:00pm at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel, the family will receive friends from 10:00am until the time of service at the funeral home, burial will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery.
He is survived by his son, Joseph Allen Downey; daughter, Pamela Louise Downey; brothers, Donnie (Twiana) Downey, Ralph (Wyndie) Medley; sister, Tina (Travis) Graham; grandsons, Joseph Cole Downey, Dexter Wooten.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Mae Downey.
Mr. Downey was a native of Centre, and is the son of the late Calvin “Mutt” Downey and Gaynell Hicks Downey.
