Mrs. Gaynell Wilkerson Rainey, age 84 of Centre, passed away Monday December 6th.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 9th, 2021 at 1:00pm in the Perry Funeral Home Chapel, the family will receive friends from 11:00 am till the time of service at the funeral home, burial will follow at Gnatville Cemetery.
Pallbearers include William Thompson, Nathan Thompson, Jay Rainey, Jonathan Rainey, Mike Drummond, Nickolas Petroskey, Dewayne Hurley, Bit O’Neal.
She is survived by her husband: Rev. James Oree Rainey, sons; Rev. Mike Rainey (Karla) and Randy Rainey (Sandy), daughter; Sheila O’Neal (Bit), brothers; Harold Wilkerson and DeWayne Wilkerson, sisters; Martha Kilpatrick and Yvonne Turner, 5 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brothers; Jack Wilkerson, John Wilkerson, Dan Wilkerson, and sister; Evelyn Kelly. She is the daughter of the late Homer Lee & Mamie Raul Wilkerson, and was of the Congregational Holiness faith.
