A 19 year old has been charged with murder, in a deadly shooting in Anniston earlier this week.

On Wednesday, police announced the arrest of Brancen Tripp Champion – charged in connection with the death of 30 year old Christian M. Nobles.  That shooting occurred around 10:00pm Monday in the 500 block of East Sixth Street

Champion was taken into custody by Anniston and Ohatchee Police and he was taken  to the Calhoun County Jail, where he is being held on bond of $45,000.

No additional information is being released at this time – and, no motive has yet been determined.
